Our Story

RaiClo didn't start in a design studio. It started in a college hallway, with a request nobody thought twice about: design a jersey for the department.

The founder — a tech graduate by degree, a designer by instinct — had never treated fashion as a side interest. It was the thing he came back to between assignments and exams. So when the chance came to put that instinct into something real, something people in his department would actually wear, he took it seriously. He sketched more versions than anyone asked for. He argued over stitching and fit like it mattered — because to him, it did.

That jersey became the first proof that clothing could carry more than a logo. It could carry identity.

RaiClo takes its name from Rai — the people of the Eastern Himalayan hills, where Sikkim sits close to the clouds. It's a name that carries two meanings at once: a heritage rooted in the mountains, and a quiet nod to nobility — the idea of raising something ordinary into something worth wearing.

That's the intent behind every piece: clothing made with the same care as that first jersey — considered, well-made, and meant to be lived in, not just looked at.

From a college hallway in Sikkim to your wardrobe — this is RaiClo.
